What is the best way to set up and use a vortex in a Weber Kettle?

Do you want to cook hot and direct or indirect and cooler?

Probably would like to know the advantages of both, Case. But, most of what I see is hot and fast. Like chicken wings, etc. Thanks for getting back.

When you buy the vortex it will come with instructions on how to use it several different ways.

All I can say is that sucker will generate some heat.

You need welding gloves just to grab the handle on the top of the kettle.
