Looks Great Ray!!
Didn't take you long to put that Vortex to work!!

Howdy Bear!! Hope all is well in the Bear Den. I agree with you that Ray did a good job. Being that you're the king of the 360 air fryer, can you please try to motivate Ray to at least unpack the 360 he''s had for weeks sitting unopened on the couch? :emoji_laughing:

Ever the instigator,
Robert

LOL---I don't want to keep bugging him, but I sure hope his is Perfect, like mine, because his Warranty will probably be run out by the time he tries it.
But then I guess it's harder to use an indoor toy in AZ than it is in PA-----They were calling for a few inches of snow up here on Saturday.

Good point but I guess if he never tries it, he won't need the warranty :emoji_laughing:

It only weighs about 10 pounds. I take mine outside and set it up on the counter by my grill on a regular basis. I think Ray is just scared of all those buttons, knobs, and whirlygig thingys in there :emoji_astonished:

Come on Ray...

It never stops raining around here, so mine stays inside.
Now they said a few inches of Snow could get here Saturday.
I've been inside 8 weeks---Might as well keep going.

Thanks tx smoker tx smoker ! sawhorseray sawhorseray , excellent results! Love the Vortex! One of those "Why did I wait so long to buy one?!" Can be used in many ways even as a shield for smoking. Wings are never the same after using it.

I love it Zack, had it two days and done two cooks. Like you, I cut the stupid worthless part of the wing off, can't see having something on the grill that isn't fit to eat. All I'm wondering about now is what to cook next. Doesn't take long to get the hang of using it, course it ain't rocket science either. Thanks for the Like Zack, I appreciate it. RAY

Congratulations on those wings Ray. They look great!!! Don't worry about doing thighs with that setup. I do all my chicken pieces with the Vortex/kettle combo. Among other things: Tomahawk Ribeyes: Chicken Parmesan: Chicken Fried Steak: I even do Blooming onions on the kettle/vortex.
Again your wings look great. Point for sure Chris

Boy howdy Chris, I'm learning a lot here! Between you and Zach I'm now leaning towards a vortex ribeye tonight for dinner. Thank you for the Like Chris, I do appreciate it. RAY

They all have a use / strong point . I'm telling you that 26 " kettle is a force to be reckoned with , and a kettles covers multiple cooking methods . No need to get rid of anything , just make some room .

That's a beautiful setup you've got there Rich, and I hear what your sayin'! Of course there are some voting members who might think enough is enough and need some convincing. Then there's the fact the SQ36 eats up $30 worth of wood to smoke a $9 porkbutt, but I do enjoy playing with fire. Thanks for the Like Rich, I do appreciate it. RAY

Kind of like the Slow-n-Bear, once it was here I couldn't wait to start a fire, I just truly love playing with fire and meat at the same time. Thanks for the Like John, much appreciated. RAY

Ah geez Robert, Ever the instigator is right! It's not as tho that hasn't been brought up at our house recently, like every day! I was really close a couple of days back, saw somebody post fried zukes using a 360 that appealed to me, might be good for leftovers like pizza too. Thanks for the Like Robert, much appreciated. Ah ha, and there we have it Bear, it was 106º yesterday and will be the same today! The AC will soon be running 24 hours a day with the power bill that goes with it for the next six months. My wife Jan is back on some veggie diet kick and using the stove non-stop, so keeping the 360 in the box is actually sound economics. RAY

Last nights teriyaki vortex wings, can't stop eatin' the darned things, try it, you'll like it! RAY

Ray....ya simply gotta stop buddy :emoji_astonished: Between you and Zach, I'm about to pull the trigger and get a Weber and the Vortex...as if I don't already have enough cookers. Those look spectacular my friend. Excellent job and I'll take two platters full...please

No good old fashioned 22" kettle Robert? I'm kind of shocked, I got my first one in 1977 and it just died a couple years back after giving to Jan's cousin. Of course they don't make them like they used to, I just always thought that just about everybody started out with a Weber. Thank you too much for the Like! RAY

Back at ya Bear, thanks for the Like! RAY

Looks good . I like the teriyaki sauce on any thing .

I've been using Mr Yoshidas teriyaki sauce for years Rich, it very thick and sweet. I used to cook up dinner on the wok once a week, Jan loved it. Haven't touched the wok since we moved to AZ and a electric stove, seems even hotter then gas. RAY

I hear you Mike, I could eat those wings three times a week. I'm coming up with a ton of ideas for utilizing the vortex, it's gotta be great for a ribeye! Thanks for the Like, I do appreciate it. RAY

I have a pretty nice wok . Has a ring for use with an electric stove . Ended up scorching the cook surface . Been sitting in the pantry for 20 years .
