I wanted some wings tonight. 10 whole wings on the kettle with the vortex and a chunk of cherry wood.

They are a lot darker then when I don't add the wood chunk

Tossed them in habanero and scorpion pepper sauce

They only took 35 minutes, and were perfectly cooked! Thanks for looking!

Those wings look delicious Mike!
I also leave my wings whole, I like chewing on the crispy end!
And those vortex's are definitely chicken wing machines!!

Thanks Al! I think whole wings hold a little extra moisture too. I separate the sections before saucing, and the juice drips from the sections into the sauce bowl.

A bit too spicy for me though.
Thanks Smoke23! They really weren't that spicy. I had some smoked ghost pepper in a grinder, now that was spicy as well as tasty! I gotta get some more of that! :)
