Interesting that they only talked about the breast.  The way I smoke roast my birds the thigh always lags the breast, sometimes by as much at 7-9F. 

Here's where I probe the thigh (see arrow).

I've always heard the thigh. It would be easier to see that arrow if it was a brighter color,not that I can even put an arrow on a pic just thought it would be more helpful some of us old people can't see that well!:biggrin:

You just have to wiggle it around once you get it in there to make sure you're not touching bone.
