My 7 year old Son just joined Cub Scouts and had his 1st camp out over the weekend

Boys and Girls Clubs are a GREAT institution!

Going into my 4th year as a Den Leader, and I am amazed at how much these kids have never done, like picking apples.

I am not a Motor head or sports person, I think I was misplaced at birth and should be on a farm somewhere.

It really is a good feeling when these kids get so excited to see what I have planned next.

I was very involved in my sons Scouting days and my wife was the Pack Leader....Those were some good times and 35 yrs ago...Thats nice !!!!

I had a great time when my kids were scouts. Prolly had more fun than the boys..

My oldest made his Eagle..

 I went thru all the fun and got the Wood badge... also got a Trail Blazer award.

Every spring and summer was Little League and Scouting.

Here'a a pic from Summer Camp.

Keep up the good work...it pays.

I couldn't agree more, I think that there is too much emphasis on sports as compared to the many other opportunities out there for our kids.

Awesome, the more you participate the more your sun will get out of it, trust me on this.
