I'm just a beginner at smoking, so I'd been asking an AI all the dumb questions I was too shy to ask real people. I'd been asking it about various kosher meats / cuts that could be interesting to smoke (since we keep kosher and pork is strictly off the table), and it mentioned venison neck. There's a kosher butcher in NYC that ships that has venison, but they didn't have necks, but they did have veal necks, which I asked the AI about and it claimed that veal neck would be good. Well, obviously I'd like to ask human beings with taste buds before I order a 15lb veal neck with overnight shipping, so I'm curious...have any of you heard of smoking a (whole, bone-in) veal neck before? It seems like it'd be a fun experiment. (I do have several more normal cuts lined up to smoke before getting anything else, anyway...a lamb shoulder, a duck, and a half turkey.)
