Just got a look at it for next week and they've got USDA choice ribeye steaks for $8.99/lb and corn is 5 ears for $1.00. Some other things such as seedless watermelons for $2.99/each and baby back ribs for $2.49/lb.

Food Lion is close so I may stop in to get a watermelon.

Just a heads up for those in the area looking for something to cook this weekend...

The lion is notorious for having butts at $.99 a lb. Usually hits once every 3 weeks.

Yeah, their butts are regularly 99¢/lb with no limit, but next week they're$1.59/lb with a limit of 2. They must be planning to sell a bunch.

I actually buy a good portion of my meat from there. Good meat and fair prices most of the time...especially the manager specials!

The 99 cent sales usually only happen 2 times a year in my area.. once in the spring and once late summer/early fall. It would be nice to have them more often... Two days ago I was in a different store looking for something unique and saw pork shoulders for $2.99/pound.. I just walked out of the store after that!
