Morning all,
I got woken up by a strange screeching noise at 2:30 this morning. Went downstairs and looked around the backyard. Come to find out. The 10x10 steel shed collapsed. I'm having one of the kids to stop by to help move the stuff to the other shed. Luckily, there isn't alot in there. Since I was up. I figured I'd get some breakfast.

Made a few bisquick biscuits. And had sausage and gravy. Nice, rib sticking meal. Now I'll start getting a claim going on the shed. The only thing damaged that I could tell in the dark was the shed and my electric smoker. I moved the other stuff around away from the dripping water. I really didn't want to spend anymore time then needed in case it came down the rest of the way. We'll get the rest of the snow off the roof first.

Wet snow collapse it?

We've had a fair amount of melting in the sun and that's been causing issues for a lot of people. Just spent the last two days getting snow off the roof and busting up the ice damn on the north side of the house. I just may come out of retirement and go back to painting full time as lots of folks have water coming in.

I got up yesterday about 2:30 also. Been having problems sleep lately! Biscuit and gravy looks killer. That what I did yesterday also. Several people around here had collapses also.

Yes, it was wet snow. I had some ice build up on a part of the house. Got that taken care of.

First off, I hate loud wierd noises in the night that can wake me.... never anything good.

Glad no real bad damage.

And now that is a nice stick to the belly breakfast right there.

David
Thanks David!

Sucks about your building Steve! But the biscuits and gravy are a great meal! Just thinking about that makes me want a nap!

SH, Too bad about the loss of your shed, as a homeowner it seems like there is always an unexpected problem. :) Love the sausage and gravy breakfast !
