Finally picked up a Tri-Tip in Ma.

Seasoned with Worcester Sauce,Salt, Fresh Cracked Black Pepper

Set the kettle up for indirect smoke 225* F

Used some Peach chips with KBB

Had a spike in temp that I corrected, so the meat was done in 1 1/2 hrs

finished IT was 135* only climbed to 136*

Basted with Butter and Garlic Powder before being sliced for dinner

Big piece left for some more meals

Last night served with Mashed Potatoes and Cauliflower

Thanks for looking

Richie

I cant pay 11.99 a lb for it at Wegmans.

Good job on the tri-tip.  I wish I could do some tri-tip occasionally, but I just can't justify the $7.99/lb for a small hunk of tri-tip when I can get 10-12 packer briskets at $2.99/lb (prime) around here.  I guess I'll just be sticking with the brisket and admiring your tri-tip.

Looks great Richie! Tri tip is so juicy!
Very nice piece of meat

Looks tasty,I'm glad I can get them under $3.50# most of the time that's bulk with the fat cap.

Tasty looking plate, Richie! The juice on the cutting board says a lot. Like others have noted, the price is way too high, but you just have to try one, right :-)
