Tri tip from the butcher and shrimp from winco and ribs from wallyworld that I got about a month ago and they expire today. I put bbq sauce on the steak in a bag 20 minutes before smoking. It was really tastey. Shrimp was ok. I grilled some before and liked them better. Just wanted to give it a try. They went about 20 minutes while smoker had been going at 225.more pics coming

Then I tossed in another piece of oak. Just the ribs are going now. Sunday I think I’ll do my pork tenderloins and abts maybe get something else like Korean short ribs. I might even call and ask for thick cut .5”

Ya thanks to the butcher these guys pierce there meats with bunch of needles to tenderize it. The flavor was out of bounds, I think the bbq suace really helped

Smoking time was right at 1 hour and that was with starting fire after the meat was on so they cooked fast.

Ya I seen high end steak houses on tv use them and other guys say if u got a good piece of meat u don’t need to tenderize it. Whatever

Ya prime is good how it is I’m sure

Thanks. One more pics. Reheat this morning. Kinda sideways. I left the ribs on last night because I was to tired. Took them off around 9 am. Fire burned out around 11:30 pm or so

Nice job on that TT. Someday I'll find one at a reasonable cost.

Point for sure.

Chris

TT turned out very nice. I love cooking them. Not always tender, but always flavorful. They are as cheap a piece of meat as you can get around here, so cook a lot of em. Will definitely try the tenderizer suggestion next time.

Question...did you cut yours up prior to cooking? My TT's are always more of a roast size.

No these were just strips. He has a whole one too. It was kinda a L shape and not very big. But it was the new butcher showing it to me so not sure maybe there bigger. I did tenderloin and 1 abt on the gas grill I’ll get a pic up tomorrow.
