Yeah, those Jaccard tenderizers do a helluva job on a piece of beef, especially when marinating and brining.Ya thanks to the butcher these guys pierce there meats with bunch of needles to tenderize it.
TT turned out very nice. I love cooking them. Not always tender, but always flavorful. They are as cheap a piece of meat as you can get around here, so cook a lot of em. Will definitely try the tenderizer suggestion next time.
Question...did you cut yours up prior to cooking? My TT's are always more of a roast size.
