Last night was Tri-Tip.

Thanks to everyone who responded to the Santa Maria Rub thread. A lot of great discussion.

I went with a light coating of Worcestershire sauce and SPG.

Grilled asparagus to go with it and tossed in some Hawaiian style macaroni salad.

Mighty fine looking meal! Tried tip looks great! But beings it's hot and humid here... that salad looks great also!

Jim, I think you know what you're doing when it comes to tri tip. That is cooked perfectly and that plate shot is epic!

Bought 2 tri tip in a package at Costco Northern Calif today - $ 9.99/lb for choice quality. Prime briskets were $ 5.99/#

I'm curious the price when I get south and go to Costco Business Center in Orlando. That is my source for tri-tip at a reasonable price. My source for beef to grind into sausage, too.
