Last night was Tri-Tip.

Thanks to everyone who responded to the Santa Maria Rub thread. A lot of great discussion.

I went with a light coating of Worcestershire sauce and SPG.

Grilled asparagus to go with it and tossed in some Hawaiian style macaroni salad.

Mighty fine looking meal! Tried tip looks great! But beings it's hot and humid here... that salad looks great also!

Jim, I think you know what you're doing when it comes to tri tip. That is cooked perfectly and that plate shot is epic!

Yum for me
I now love asparagus but the wild crop is long gone

The tri-tip looks great. Just one look at the Hawaiian mac and I'm going to have to make some.

Great looking plate! I guess I going to have to pull min out of freezer. I love Hawaiian style macaroni salad and yours looks great!

If folks look closely you'll see I forgot the green peas in the Hawaiian mac. :emoji_astonished:
Nice looking plate, and I was wondering if that was a cold Hawaiian mac salad......love that stuff!

Great looking meal!! TriTip is a favorite for sure!!

Living shame when tri-tip costs more than brisket............

I would be awfully hard on a couple or three plates of that. Love TT and asparagus, never had Hawaiian Mac Salad but it sounds good

Great cook and plate!
Hawaiian m&c is new to me too.
Care to share the recipe?

I'm curious the price when I get south and go to Costco Business Center in Orlando. That is my source for tri-tip at a reasonable price. My source for beef to grind into sausage, too.
