How do you like yours sliced for burgers and sandwiches? Do you like them peeled or not? For me, I like them sliced almost paper thin, certainly less than a ¼" thick, and I don't cut the skin off. My best friend likes them ½" thick or so and always cuts the skin off of home grown tomatoes, but not always with store bought ones.

So how do you like yours?

I like mine sliced thick and not peeled. When they really matter to me though is when I'm making leftover turkey sammichs thanksgiving weekend. Thick tomatoes with wayyy too much salt and pepper and mayo, with some great turkey meat. mmmm mmm yum

Exactly like you. As well as the onions thin.
 
I’m with you Charles, washed but thin sliced I think sandwiches benefit from thin sliced veggies. Now I will do a thick sliced mater with lime, salt, pepper and some cottage cheese just for a snack but those are home grown.

Burger/meat sandwich thin.
Plain Ole Mater sammich. Thick with Dukes mayo and some thick bacon cooked rare!
