I used a store bought rub my daughter got me for Christmas. Turned out pretty good. On the smoker for 5hrs and finished in the oven. Probably should have trimmed a little more fat off but oh well.

What was the name of the commercial rub if you remember?

Nice looking bark. Hope you liked the rub, what was it? Personally, its ol' Texas style for this family, straight 50/50 salt and freshly cracked black pepper and nothing else but smoke & time. Oh... and maybe a few beers 🍻 along the way :emoji_wink:

It was a combination of weber, dano's rubs
I added salt, pepper, cayenne pepper also
