Pic heavy.

Smoked brisket in the pit barrel cooker.
Had to trim off the flat a tad to make it fit on the rack.
Nice to have an outdoor fridge to rest the meat while you wait for the cooker to come to temp.
Around 8 hours
Rested in cooler for about an hour and was still steaming when I went to slice it.
Very juicy\moist
Flat had more of the smoke ring.
Saved the trimmed fat to render later
Cooked fresh garden potatoes and fresh garden beets, beets were done in the air fryer with seasoning and brown sugar.
Meal was excellent, son went back for seconds. 20260821_114913.jpg 20260821_114921.jpg 20260822_102255.jpg 20260822_102259.jpg 20260822_102314.jpg 20260822_102347.jpg 20260822_121457.jpg 20260822_121506.jpg 20260822_182642.jpg 20260822_190747.jpg 20260822_190944.jpg 20260822_191833.jpg 20260822_191839.jpg 20260822_191848.jpg 20260822_191852.jpg 20260822_192600.jpg 20260822_192605.jpg
