I decided to cook a nice supper for the little princess.

I bought a 2 1/2"+
" Market steak" it's a trimmed up ribeye.

To go along with it, I made some asparagus, two bake potatoes, and some sweet corn.

I cooked the steak in the S.V a t138* for six hours. Then seared it off in a cast iron skillet on the gas weber using a little bit of ghee.

Let it rest for 15 minutes while I got the fixin's ready.

This was one of the best steaks I have ever had, literally fork tender, and DELICIOUS!!!

The seasoning was S.P.roasted Garlic.

I scored some points with this meal, plus I did the dishes, which is extremely rare. LOL!!!

Thanks for looking.

We've been together for 30+ yrs, and known each other since the 1980s. I married my best friends little sister, yup broke the bro code big time. He wasn't thrilled at first, but after seeing that we did everything together, he came around. LOL!!!

I'm new here but I like to be funny... Aussie Funny, so I hope this is not taken the wrong way.

I'm real sorry you could only give her 2 1/2 inches on your anniversary bro.

However it looks like unreal quality 2 1/2 inches!

And honestly congrats on 23 years!

For 24 years, it's time to chuck a Shrimp on the Barbie!

Cheers!

Congratulations on getting along this far. Living a long live together is the best thing anyone can enjoy in life.

2 1/2 inches is being generis, Bill.
We are gonna get along well, I like to cut it up with the best of them.

The running joke after breaking through the ice wading out to retrieve two geese I killed. Once back in the boat I was striping down to my skivvies, to put on some dri pants because I tore a big hole in my waders climbing over a brush pile. I figured I may as well take a leak while everything was out. My hunting partner says get down more birds are coming. After fumbling around for a few seconds he says what in the hell is taking you so long?
My reply was, "It's like looking for a button in a fir coat right now"
He lost it laughing, damn that sure was a cold one, that I will never forget.

So the stupid spur of the moment saying that I belted out'ah thin air has stuck around for over 40 yrs now. 🤣 🤣 🤣
