I am on the fence about injecting.  I have injected exactly one time, and it was delish, but I'm not sure it was enough to make me a regular injector.  Thoughts? Opinions? Preferences?

If your looking for a different flavor profile injecting is great. Scarbelly hot wings have to be the best wings around and they are injected.

Yep, I've injected coconut water/pineapple juice for a Pina Colada effect...quite tasty. Just watch your times....it's more important to hit that 140 in 4 hours when u inject....Willie

I inject for competition as well as at home.

You will never know until you give it a shot.

A good starter injection is the Big Bob Gibson one. I usually cut the salt a bit....still an amazing injection as is though.

Cook one with and one without to see if you like it!

Send our food safety expert Chef JimmyJ a private message for any safety concerns about injecting food. He will be glad to explain everything in detail for you.

I only inject briskets and the Scarbelly Wings.  Did on a butt once....never again.

My 2 cents!

I  injected a Pork Loin last week and it was a big success... no left overs...  I don't inject everything I grill or smoke ,,, more of a type of cut/meat thing for me...
