We're probably had half that here but it's still record setting. It's currently like driving through a Slurpee but the streets have drained quite a bit. What's left will be an ice rink by Friday.

The important thing is that Freddy's has whole sockeye for $3.79 a pound! There will be a batch in the smoker by the weekend.

We haven't had the luxury of slurpee streets. It snows and then get super cold.

When it does thaw it's going to be a mess!

Glad we put anew roof in the house last spring!

Front bedroom was just redone!  May smell like fresh paint, but the AC works!

My wife has a coworker in from Hillsboro, she doesn't want to go back tomorrow!

If she's flying into PDX she may not be able to.

We had some friends fly in there last night. It was the last flight allowed in. After landing the plane couldn't get to the gate and the ground crew couldn't mobilize to push. They had to disembark and hike through snow to get to the terminal.

The Portland area is pretty much shut down.

That would be the one she flies in to.  May have to cook for her tomorrow...

Something NEW !!!

Check this stuff out......  The next 48  hours of $# !!!!!!!

Yeah No!

We're warm right now, 33f. Freezing rain is supposed to hit this afternoon right before everyone is supposed to get off work. Should be neat. Luckily I'm home playing with my Anova Sous Vide.

Then we're supposed to be warm for a few days, then it's back to another week of snow.

We've hit our limit.

We're looking at 8-10" of snow over the next 36 hours, turning to rain on Thursday. I'll be out with the blower sometime late tomorrow afternoon before all that snow starts absorbing the rain and turning my driveway into an ice rink. It looks like that will be followed by a couple of days above freezing.

I am so ready for spring...

Now it looks like flooding may be an issue per the bride's coworker.

Got a boat?
That floats?

I'm with you, heavy. We've only had around 3" of snow so far this year and I'm just fine with it....
Supposed to be in the 50's this weekend. I may have to work on my tan line and make some fire pit chicken with the tripod cooker. Unseasonably warm spring will bring a mixed bag of chips for sure.

Same here. We're taking two trucks to Toledo Saturday and it's supposed to be in the 50s & 60s. Two years ago we drove through a blizzard. Last year Toledo was locked down for a day because of snow. I'm loving it.
Mixed bag of chips withstanding, Mother Nature seems to survive..
