Well today is the last day I have off before we close on our first house this coming Friday so I decided it was time to start packing up my cabinet. Well I told the wife I needed a small amazon box for all my spices and she laughed at me. I was like what is so funny "honey do you honestly think all your seasonings are going to fit in a small box?" I said "well it was good thinking" she ended up bringing out 3 smaller boxes and I started to pack up. The wife was definitely right once I started going. I have 2 full boxes and could do another box but have lots of taller containers that won't fit so they will end up in a paper bag. I can't wait to get all moved because I have a pretty large shed for my smokers and grills plus ideas to build a stationery one. Week from Tuesday I plan to do my first official smoke at the house. Obviously I'll be getting my kettle over there Friday so I can grill for the helpers while we move.

The wife did say "your going to pack them up already?" I said "I'll keep out the most common (spog) which works on anything."

Congrats on the First House. Pretty special occasion. 27 years ago, the Mrs. and I sat in the middle of an empty living room eating Takeout and drinking Champagne from paper cups! Our stuff arrived the next morning. I am up to three beer case boxes of spices. After our next move I will have an old glass front China Cabinet to store and have easy access...JJ

thanks Lance. My friends and family will love it alot because now I'll have space for groups and can smoke for everyone!!! I will have an open door for them all now with 2 extra rooms and a full bar.

That's awesome! Nothing like having extra space, especially for entertaining and family. A full bar don't hurt none either!!

Congrats on the house may it always be the temp. you want

thanks Joe! I will try that one on the wife but don't think that will go over well. I am thinking of making a cinder block smoker.

Congrats on buying your first home--that's a great step.  You're gonna love having your own place.  Now you can make whatever changes and repairs you want to improve your smoking environment.  Of course, you also get to pay for all this stuff.  LOL

Here is what I have out right now. Pellet grill is in the shed.

My neighbor came over when I was done cutting the grass and asked what the box thing was. I had to explain I really like to grill and smoke different meats when I'm off work and not to worry if she smells alot of different wood smoke (she's an older lady). She asked if I could do a turkey in my gasser and I had to tell her no but I have a smoker in the shed that can probably do 2 20lb birds and she was [emoji]128558[/emoji].
