Is in rough shape but think it’s good steel and will make a good working knife.
Anyone got any of these?

I have a similar blade on one of my camper knives, though it is a homemade knife with a stag handle. Sharpened very, very well but I really don't have a clue as to what is specifically used for. Mine has a bit more of an arc to it maybe. Filleting fish? It is a thinnish blade but not very flexible like my other fillet knives.

Eaaaasy on that tape measure
I had my wet weather tapes . Just have to keep the oiled up when you put them back in the back , and save for a rainy day !
That long blade , with the slow curve is great for butchering . Get some sanding sponges from the Drywall section of the hardware store . Keeps your hand away from the blade .
