I ordered 120 lbs of various wood chunks from CharcoalStore.com and lemme tell you what, it got here super fast and they have some quality products. Here are some pics of what I purchased.......

Maple Wood

Pecan

Mesquite

Bourbon Barrel

Apple

The wood was really well priced and shipping from Michigan (where they are based) to my place in PA was $80. Hopefully this helps for anyone that is interested in online purchasing of cooking wood.

Seems like a great deal, that's a lot of wood so I would expect shipping to be up there.
I'll give them a look.
Thanks for posting the link and pics.

I order mine online as well, but from www.doitbest.com. They have pecan, hickory, apple, cherry, mesquite etc. Shipping is FREE if you have it shipped to your local hardware store, of which they have over 4000 affiliate locations across the US. Mine happens to be less than 2 miles from my house!

Go on the site, see if you have a local affiliate store, then place your order with no shipping, and they call you when it gets there and you pick it up.

10lb bags of chunks average about $7. Not bad when you don't have to pay shipping!
