Nope, that made me nervous too. I wasn't a handsome worldly young man like you.
Shucks, I thought you just couldn't wait for the Honeymoon to start !!

HAHA!! Sounds like my wedding. I'm Catholic and my Wife's Episcopal. We were married in a Methodist Church by an Episcopal Priest who'd converted from Catholicism. I too was waiting for someone (likely a member of my insane family) to ruin the whole thing. Luckily it went off without a hitch.
Well, Bear. I am Irish Catholic as is my family. We were married in an Anglican church. My in laws thought I was a crazy unreliable sod (which was true). I had reasons to be anxious until the ceremony was over. I was waiting for one side of the family or the other to do something to disrupt the service.
There may have been a wee bit. :)
What an exciting Wedding!!!!!!
No Drinking at that one, Huh???![]()

Handsome couple! You look like the cat who caught the canary.
OK----Finally found these 2, and scanned them.
Not very Great pics, but they are over 45 years old (Dec 28, 1968).
This was just a few weeks before I went to Vietnam.

Not that much of a throwback, but here are a few from my wedding in '07.
The bride and the Matron of Honor heading in. I love the way this one turned out.
Here are the groomsmen and myself about to be "piped in" before the ceremony. Nothing like the sound of bagpipes at full tilt in a 200 year old church that seats less than 100. It was actually very moving.
The Bride's brother and step father delivering her down the aisle.
No turning back now!!
Success!!
I think this was 3 or 4 days later on a long hike through a swamp to get to a deserted beach.
Later that same day on the beach in front of our condo.
I was thinking the same thing. Not a day goes by I don't look at Mrs. Boatbum and shake my head in wonderment. Until she realizes her mistake, I'm the luckiest guy on Earth!

LOL----Great Looking Bunch!!! Thanks for the Who's Who!!Well , on the left in the white t-shirt is big brother Tom . He lives in Texas now and is a big BBQ expert.(says he) standing in front of him holding the cat
(Kokomo) is my baby brother Patrick . Seated in the fancy duds is my Irish twin , Dennis. This was the day of his big guitar recital. He was a pretty good guitar player back in the day. And way over on the right with the goofy grin and the jeans rolled up to that stylish 8 inch cuff is yours truly. This was taken around 1960 , I would say.
Now there's a real Throwback!!!And here's a throwback all the way to 1917! Fits right into Memorial Day .My grandpa on his wedding day in his army uniform. Not sure if this was before he went to France or after he got back but he was in France for WW1.
