Agreed!!! A lot of kidding here but we love my dad's garden and eat eggs everyday from our little flock of 19 chickens. I've only used butter for years now and if I can't afford it, we just go without. I refuse to buy the other crap no matter how cheap it is. We have this store called "Grocery Outlet" and I butter there for less than $2/lb, sometimes even $1/lb if I'm lucky and then I buy all I can and stash it in the freezer. We also are very very lucky to Territorial Seed Company based here in Cottage Grove and they sell plants so cheaply at certain times of the year from their greenhouse, every last one certified non-gmo! So almost all of the garden is non-conventional seed or plants.
