Hey guys, so yesterday was my son's 4th birthday celebration. It was some good amount of work to get the house ready, prep and cook. I split my cook session into 2 days. First day i smoked 5 racks of St.Louis style ribs that were seasoned with Butt rub mixed with brown sugar. And yesterday i smoked the brisket and 2 beer can chickens. I split the brisket and turned the point into burnt ends. Next time i'll have to get an extra point or 2 because those dissapeared quick. The flat was really tender and juicy. And the chicken was also super moist. People kept saying they've never had such juicy chicken.With all the running around i was doing i accidently burnt the friggin beans. Oh well can't em all. Luckily the wife made some mac n cheese, salad and corn.
I need to upgrade my smoker cuz i had a couple people asking me if i would cater an event for them but i had to decline cuz my pit boss cant handle that much food...
