Bigq, look into Craigs list and look for barrels(food grade is possible) and you can probably find open tops or lock tops either one.I know a fellow in Toledo that has more food barells than Carter has Peanuts. They are only $10 ea.,then got it sandblasted for $10; the other parts were found and scavenged(well some bought )from junk piles.
I'm assuming you are going to make a UDS?Have fun doing it and show us Q-view.
Car washes and bakery's.... Also check with service stations that do oil changes... county and state road departments also have empty paint drums from painting highway stripes that can be burned out.
By using a drum that held fuel in it, would that taint the flavor of the meat or will all or most of it get burned while burning it out? What about a drum that held regular race fuel, like leaded Torco, or unleaded race fuel? Would methanol still be a better find, if someone chose to use an old fuel drum?
