For Christmas my wife got me a Weber Kettle. Also for Christmas I picked up 3 rib roast on sale for 6.97/lb.

For dinner tonight we broke in the New Kettle. No pictures of the cook but I'll get some on the next.

Here is the ribeye while breaking it down.

Chris Thanks. I had 2 Kettles when we were back west but sold them when we moved. I have been wanting to build a Santa Maria Kind of pit but have been dragging my feet but the wife was like well until then theres this LOL. Not complaining.

Great looking ribeye before and after.
I see you broke out the Christmas fine china, too.
Kettle is still my favorite.
The 18" is a searing machine

That looks amazing! Both the meat before and the plate after! I'd take the ketchup off the hash browns and put the eggs in it's place, but that's just me!
Just as jealous at the price of the meat... close to 3 X that here.
Not sure if it would be of any help but quite some time ago I think Robert, tx smoker tx smoker did a thread on a santa maria grill he built.

That would make a great breakfast. Love steak n eggs

This does look great... BUT ...

I'm trying to figure out how you kept the eggs from falling/running through the grill grate ??

Thinking a Vortex is in the near future too....
I went to Walmart but no $1 units

Also, if I have to tell you how to do the hash and eggs then you will never know the feeling of figuring it out LOL
