Used some Meat Church rubs on these ribs. Didn’t use a binder, but put on a thin layer of the gospel seasoning then a thick layer of honey hog. On the smoker for 2 hours at 250.
After 2 hours, pulled, made up the bed of light brown sugar, butter and more rub. I normally would add honey but was all out. Meat down on the bed. Put a small mix on the bone side as well. Also added a little apple juice. Wrapped tightly in double tin foil. Back in the smoker for another 2 hours.
Unwrapped and they were done. Put on a thin layer of bbq sauce and back in uncovered for 15 min. Bam!
This might be my new way of cooking them.

Thanks, now my mouth is watering! Cooking two small Boston butts tomorrow and then later this weekend I will try your receipt. New to smoking and enjoying the information from this site.
