Another quick one.
Double decker sourdough melt
I make the Patty's pretty big. About 2/3rd of a pound each.
Then add bacon, cheddar and extra slice of sourdough in the middle. Toast the middle piece and toss on some sauce, I loosely base the sauce on steak and shake Frisco melt sauce.
Ketchup, french dressing, mayonnaise, sweet pickle relish and a few seasonings. I'll you look up the copy cat if that interests you.
When you put this sucker on the cast iron t o brown the bread and melt the cheddar, when you lift it onto the plate you will bend the spatula!
Hence the spatula Bender melt!
