Way cool...can you see it come back down?
we can when they bring them back to a land based sight. This one was on a platform 350 miles off the coast.

Thats pretty cool. Do they let you know when they take off or reenter?

Nice photos Rick. We have had the fortunate experience to see one of these. We also see Wallop's Island from our home.

Believe it or not, we can see the launches here too.
Pretty cool stuff.
And we also have the Avon Park bombing range about 10 miles from my house. So we get all kinds of military aircraft flying all over the place. They even set up an Afghan village for a mission & had some of the locals pose as Afghans!

There is an APP for the launches and the local tv puts up flight times.

Watched the launch from the south west shore of Lake Bryan in Orlando.
Pretty much the same views as BGKYSmoker BGKYSmoker posted. An orange glow in the sky.
Missing the launch tomorrow as we are starting the return trip to snow and cold.

Many years ago we were also vacationing in the area. Drove out to Cocoa Beach one day. Wife wanted to go to Ron Jon shop (primary reason for drive to coast which she will deny) but the kids had a nice day. Also got to see the space shuttle returned home to Canaveral on the 747 carrier.
Way cool!

I know how that feels, being Sicilian I get super tan in the summer so growing up whenever we played cowboys and Indians guess which one I had to be? My tribe didn't get to win very often.:emoji_joy::emoji_joy::emoji_joy:
