Hey, everyone!

I am Jason, a 40 yo father of 8 yo twins from deep South Texas here.

I work in the health care industry.

Pretty much occasional smoker (when the meat is usually on sale!) who loves to smoke brisket, ribs, and chicken.

My FIL has been smoking meats most of his life, and has complimented me on my skills. So big compliment.

I am looking forward to expanding on my knowledge, and get more smoking done.

Try Harlingen. The Rio Grande Valley. South Padre Island (and great fishing) is about 30-45 minutes from me.

Thanks, everyone for the warm welcome. Sorry I haven't posted, but it's been busy around here. I do have some questions, and if I don't see the answers, belive me, I will ask!
