Rick, I would weigh 300 + pounds if I was your neighbor and you'd have a hard time getting me to quit visiting ! :) Your bread looks awesome.

I have tried nutritional yeast twice in sausage and never again.
Don't remember trying it in bread.
How do you think it fairs in bread? I've got a lot to use up or just toss.

I haven't tried it but considered buying some. What didn't you like?

It didn't add any significant flavor to me.
I blind tested a few neighbors on 2 different summer sausage recipes. They all preferred the mix with no yeast. Granted the recipes were different in meat, but nobody said there was "something" missing in the no yeast batch.

I may just follow Rick's method to use it up in bread.

I've used it in bread and sausage . In soups and on vegetables . I think it adds something positive . Can't really put a finger on it . For me it's not a taste difference , but I tasted it more in bread than sausage .

I've heard of folks sprinkling it on salads or popcorn for a cheesy flavor.
