Anyone in the northeast remember the nor'easter of 1969? Fun times!

Seattle wasn't spared, either. I was 7, but I remember more than 2' on the ground around Christmas '68. It really hit a few days later in Jan '69. According to Google, we got over 45" total.
Nowadays, as soon as a couple flakes start flying, the news starts blasting about Snowmageddon!
Just a light dusting of snow yesterday, but my dashboard said 16° this morning.

It hurts to go outside to check the mailbox LOL! And -16*? Forget it! I'd be whining about not being able to turn the heat up high enough!

Ya'll gotta be alot tougher than me...the phase "Ice Fishing" makes my arse hurt.
