So far no snow to any appreciable amount here. But its raining and windy. Supposed to get colder the next few days, maybe down to 0 on monday. I have some older trees, so fingers crossed, knock on wood, that all the limbs stay on them.

Which reminds me, I might want to add the new smoker to home owners policy.

I was only 2 so I don't. Yesterdays storm was crazy with wind and rain all night. I am glad I locked down the hot tub cover, I have had it come flying off in another storm.

I was 11 - we had the best snow-fort anyone ever dreamed up!

I remember shoveling snow and shoveling more snow. The deer herds in our area were wiped out from that and other storms that winter.

Probably??? We're wearing heavy sweats any time the temperature gets below 60º, hate the cold! My days of sitting hours in a freezing duck blind are long past over. Summer we keep the AC unit at 76º, winter the heater is dialed in at 74º. I was built for comfort. RAY

Yes, commuted between Gloucester and Boston daily by car. Think we pushed the car home from Boston. Lots of stuck cars needing help.

Forecast for Monday 33-degrees high and 14-degrees - that is downright Arctic for here in the Ninth Circle of hell! Tuesday's forecast is 37-degree high and 20-degree low.

Tuesday will be PERFECT bacon smoking weather and I have a 5-pound pork belly in the fridge that will be finished curing on Sunday so the timing is outstanding!

Yesterday here was a big SH!! show. 3 inches of snow and winds to start the morning, by 9 it turned to freezing rain and stronger winds
By noon it was 70km - 100 km winds and heavy rain. Found it very hard to stay to stay in my lane on the highway between jobs.
All the rivers and ditches were just at their top banks .
Have not heard yet this morning . But I know there will be a lot of flooded basements with all the frozen ground around foundations.
Phone should start ringing soon.

Got a ton of branches and twigs, won't need any kindling for the fire pit any time soon.

We get to repeat the same thing again Friday night. Not as intense but at this point any rain/wind isn't of any benefit to anyone.

Same here on the big branches and twigs. We still have tree tops broke still in the trees from the ice storms from last year.
Every time a new storm blows through some more of them finally come down. Always waiting for the ones to hit the house . Just can't reach to take down myself. 50- more feet in the air.

Well the wet snow showed up today. 50 mph gusts next week, when the temps start to drop to 0 or negative possibly. Not looking forward to it. Hoping the wet stuff gets off the trees and bushes before it gets real cold.

Bitter cold coming in tomorrow with nasty winds, to stay until Monday.
Sunday , -16° with highs of -7°, cuts into my ice fishing
Only 2° today, smoking some cheese, probably do deer sausage over the weekend for something to do.

After looking at some of y'alls temps over the next few days I hate to whine. But, the lows here in the Memphis area are supposed to be in the teens and single digits over the weekend. Brrrr!
