Some Family Heirlooms

Been cleanin through some of my dads stuff in the basement and found a bunch of the knives that were my dads and grandads. Both worked in the Decker Packing House here in town.



I'm goin to cleanem up and use um! Found a bunch of their boning knives and some steels. These can not be replaced at any cost. Glad I still have them.

Classic butcher and cleaver... those were the days! That carbon will take a heckuva edge too. Might not last as long as stainless...but let me tell ya - SHARP!

Non Sugar Driving-Non Diabetes Ignoring No-Bake Cherry Cheesecake

this is my take on it.... if you are craving the taste of cherry cheese cake, then this will give you the flavors with low calories and its fat free. can also be a diabetic dessert as well..enjoy

you can add light vanilla wafers to the bottom for a crust but i just eat it plain

2 pkgs fat free cream cheese
1 16oz container frozen fat free/sugar free frozen dessert topping
1 can no sugar add cherry pie filling
1 tsp vanilla

cream together cream cheese and dessert topping, add vanilla. this is easily done as the fat free cream cheese is very soft

scrape into dessert cups or small dishes, put in fridge for a couple of hours to set - 4 is best, quick set - 1 hour in freezer

spoon cherries on top of cheesecake and enjoy
