Soldering remote control circuit board to MES ?

Hey all. Brand new to the site.
I have a MES series 09 model 20077915.
The motherboard on the MES is corroded. My remote control won't sync to it anymore. But that circuit board is pristine.
I'm ok at soldering but wondering if anyone has a diagram to solder R,Y,Blue,W, and BLK wires connection to what pins on remote circuit board.
2 wire for thermometer (R&BLK)
The other 3 wire connector is Red, BLK and Blue for Led light on MES, but Dont really care about that.
If anyone invented that wheel already, I'd sure like some advice.

I don't think its possible to directly solder the remote to the cable that was connected to the MES controller.

(This is based off my assumptions about the unit but I am was educated as a computer engineer and electronics technologist. I've out of the loop for a while so take what i say with a grain of salt)
I don't know much about that particular model of MES, but from (limited) my experience with data communications, the RF remote should be encoding the data (temperature, time, etc) and sending it as a binary bitstream.
(Here's a bit of useless information: the bitstream is likely modulated on the 455MHz frequency)
The data should be received by the MES controller and stored in its settings (volatile memory).

Did you think about looking into upgrading your MES to use an external controller that directly controls the temperature?
I know there's cheap controllers that use PID algorithms to reduce big fluctuations in temperature on amazon (I was looking into getting one for my MES30).
I think I also heard there are controllers that just turn on when you're below temp and off when you're at or above temp.
