It's in the small print on my signature... 'At home on the range in Wyoming'. Water always comes in handy, until it comes in large amounts. Around about August is the beginning of forest fire season, so that's a good call.

OK---That would have been my guess, by your Avatar of a "Cowboy", but I don't like to count on a guess. Wyoming "Cowboy State" nickname.
I quit trying to read fine print about 30 years ago.

OK
So would you rather move snow or mow? Have to keep the perspective on the lesser evil?

That depends on how I feel at the time.
I used to do all my own snow with a blower, but now Bear Jr does all of mine & his snow.
However, so far I do all of my own mowing, so whether I'd rather move snow or mow doesn't really matter here. Winter I do nothing outside. The rest of the year, I mow between 26 & 30 times per year.

Glad it's clearing out, Bear. You have a nice property it's nice to see green rather than white. We had a snow less winter here in Ga, except for less than an inch a time or 2. Not too bad and certainly nothing compared to you and the folks in Texas and the surroundings. Now out West just got a huge storm. Spring is on the way.

Thank You Mike!!
I think it's about over for this year, but 75" of snow is more than enough for me.
I think it was the Bitter Cold Temps that Hurt Texas, more than the Snow.
I couldn't believe it when I heard so many people had their Hot Water Heaters in their Attics. Not a Good Idea!!!
And Thanks for the Like.

I agree, Hot Water heater in an attic? Totally crazy. Our furnaces are in my attic, and I've never been happy about that, but 22 years in, never had any issues.

Yeah, Things like that seem funny to us up here:
I remember seeing on "This Old House" they put the Hot Water Heater in the Garage. I thought---What the Heck---They have a Heated Garage???

That’s why we are in NC now. Used to be in the snow belt in upstate NY. Had back to back 200-inch years In the 70’s. 60-mile long 600’ deep lakes frozen over. And never got above 0*F entire month of January.
If God wanted me to live there, I’d have fur, and hibernate with the smart animals.

My Hot water Heater is in the back room of our garage. I've also seen furnaces in garages too. In the hot summers, the backroom of the garage is pretty warm during the hottest part of the day. In the winter the heat isn't noticeable, which is where I could use it.

Sounds a lot like Buffalo.
My Sister used to live in Rochester. They got pretty much snow, but nothing like Buffalo.
My Sister lives in NC now too.
