hey every one, i got a new side box smoker about 2 months ago and have had a blast with it. tryin new things each weekend and keepin records of what i've done. I think my wife hates it already because that's all i do..lol.. so far i've done pork ribs(of course) wild turkey breasts, beef roast, fish (lake trout, walleye and norther pike) and some assorted veggies. As far as i can tell, all my (taste testers) have really enjoyed what i have made except for the spice level on some of the ribs...all i tell them is that they are wimps and need to grow up . I hope i can get some new ideas on what to make and how to make it from all the people on this site. i'm in western Nebraska (GO HUSKERS for all the fans) and have lots of wild game i can get access to. so hopefully some of my experimenting might be useful to every one.
