I have seen Anthrax just once, opening for Priest, and I have never seen Volbeat or Pantera. I love Madhouse and Antisocial from Anthrax. I saw Accept with Mark Tornillo, Wolf Hoffmann and Peter Baltes a few years ago at a small venue in St. Charles, IL, and was in row 2. Wolf and Peter were in amazing shape for their age, and Wolf was right up by the crowd the whole show, as he typically is. They broke my left eardrum when I saw them in Madison, WI when Udo was still the singer, and Metallica broke that same ear drum when I heard them as an opening band for Rush. I love your picture of Eddie on your profile.I've seen the boys MANY times! Will be seeing Bruce solo this September and by then the North American dates for Maiden should be announced for 2026 and rumor has it Anthrax may be the opener.Lots of shows this Summer including Pantera and Volbeat that I'll be seeing.Speaking of Accept I got to see Udo at a local club a few months back and at 72 he still has it.
The ear drum ruptures happened before I graduated from undergraduate school, and at that time I had no idea that cardiology was in my future. Fortunately, tympanic membrane ruptures can heal on their own, and mine did. My hearing right now is good, and I use hearing protection now for concerts. What?
Speak up. I cannot hear you!
After my first concert I gladly moved to the nose bleed seating and use binocs.
Hearing loss is permanent and a cardiologist must use some auditory for diagnosis?
Funny story : My Dad was a Tavern Owner and a bit of a comedian. As long as I was alive, until he retired. The ear drum ruptures happened before I graduated from undergraduate school, and at that time I had no idea that cardiology was in my future.
