Hey guys and gals....just wanted to introduce myself. I tried to make an account a month or so ago but the site was under maintenance. I've been reading the stuff on the forum since I got a smoker a couple months back and you guys are AWESOME! I'm a school administrator in Las Vegas who is looking to pick this up as a hobby. Thanks in advance for all the advice! I'm hoping to smoke something on Thanksgiving (not a turkey, the wife won't let me), so let me know any ideas you have. Happy smoking!

Welcome to the forum.
Miss Linda doesn't let me do turkeys for big holiday meals either. That's HER speciality. Wisely I never push it--there's 300 odd other days in the year.
Double smoked ham with a nice glaze is always a delicious Thanksgiving dinner. Very easy to do. My suggestion would be to use a spiral cut ham for best results.

Good afternoon and welcome to the forum from a warm and cloudy November day here in East Texas, and the best site on the web. Lots of great people with tons of information on just about everything.
