My door on barrel, seams to leak a little, Its a reverse flow, with a double gauge door , as of late, seems to leak some, still cooks well, holds heat, just wondering about a good door seal maybe ....  Was reading for a few days, seems best i see is the big green egg seal ??

Anyone try these ?? I see em in black also, gray high temp also ...I recently spent an afternoon cleaning it all out ,,, guess i made it leak ,, lol

If it holds heat and cooks good, leave it.

Why kick a sleeping dog????

Can you take pictures of the leak area ??   find a gasket material that's about the right thickness...   High temp silicone will stick it....

Once the leaks are sealed, control will be much better..   fuel consumption will lower...  You will be happy....

If it is under 1/8" I would use permatex high heat black RTV. Clean the door flange with MEK to remove any grease then place plastic wrap over the chamber hole try to get any wrinkles out. Then run a good bead around the door on the flange and ease it down to rest over night.

The next day raise the door trim any excess and remove the plastic wrap.

If your door has bigger than 1/8" then do the same cleaning but order some LavaLock gasket material. I prefer the self stick.

I hope this helps.
