Coming along nicely.
You would have saved enough money to get a nice sized mixer and make your own concrete from portland bags and a few loads of aggregate instead of getting the sack-crete.

Hmm
UBC requires steel trusses to be approved by a PE. Know anyone by chance?
....oh we do have a nice little mixer, but very nervous about the agg source as we are in an ASR agg area and fly ash or lithium is $$$$ for a little guy, so bags it is.... easy button they mix quick, 3 bags at a time, just an ideal load for the wheelbarrow.

Not sure I can find a moonlighting PE....Might have to drag one out of bed (LOL).... does it count if he welds/fabs it too...... lucky for me (and the X-Fire) it's under 200sqft so we are a go for permit/inspection less :-)

Fantastic project! Following along for the finish!
Much appreciated kilo! I'm hoping we can get it "roofed" before I have to snow blow....

Very nice! Looking forward to seeing X fire and copper pot come out of hiding!
You make me feel lazy... we poured 16 yards of concrete earlier this year but cheated with cement trucks! And proved if you want rain... dig a basement lol!
Fire pics are coming!!! WooHoo! :emoji_blush:

16 yards is a large load of mud! And yea basements want to be swimming pools! We are are only pouring 3.25 yards of flat work….would have had to had a pumper truck and that would be just crazy for the small amount…

I’m so wanting to see some fire in the X-Fire….i have a bunch of apricots that is nice and dry now so getting excited!
That's a ton of work and your doing a fantastic job Civil

Chris
Many many tons of work….lol, thanks Chris!
Liking your work Civil!
Thanks schlotz!!

This weekends work (long weekend)…..

This was today’s work…. The rest of the walkway slab and the SH pad……DONE!!

3.25 yards of mud in total……not gonna lie that was a little bit of work! The curbing around the lawn will be next spring….weather is getting iffy (30 days out) for mud, especially small amounts……

Next up is back to the smokehouse framing….the easy part!!!! lol

Looks great C
Next summer will be the why didn't I make it larger?
Thanks FA and that’s too funny…Mrs C said as much……followed by making it clear the smokers have to live in there….no spilling over!!! lol
