Smoked Turkey Dinner

December 13th, 2015

I decided to make dinner for the family Sunday and used the spare time to clean up the yard from Manday on Friday and mellow with a little shine!

Laura stuffed and seasoned the bird and I was off to the GOSM.

• Some snacks while I wait

• Stuffed with the leftover filling from the Mancake.

• Lets check that turkey.

• Snacks are ready.

• Dam, I almost forgot how good these little buggers were!

• Turkey looks done, probed and its really done, lol, just the way the family likes it...overcooked.

• Skin crisped and rendered perfectly.

• OK, I'll let this cool while I make some muffins, SQWIB style! Muffins are split in half, stuffed and topped with other half of muffin.

• Some are topped with another layer of filling.

• While I'm making the muffins Laura makes some gravy, mashed potatoes and stuffing, my daughter gripes there's no veggie but settles for a can of corn, yet another starch! Muffins are ready and resting.

• Laura slices the Turkey and we are in business, Lets Eat!!!
