i make my own, usually use rice & corn chex & cheerios in a big bowl
then i get some evoo, a little white vinegar and worchestershire sauce.. mix that up and pour it over the mix as evenly as possible ...tossing / stirring as more is added.

then i add seasoning ... usually do a mix of garlic & onion powder, paprika, ground pepper, and seasoned salt. i mistook the chili powder for paprika last time... took it further and added some cayenne too.
then i cook in the microwave about 1 minute on high .. take out stir... repeate for about 5 times

came out good ... some pieces alot more spicy then others... which was cut with adding the peanuts, some pretzels and cheez-its.

back to smoking ... instead of the microwave to cook, how about some smoke ?

anybody ever smoke cereal ? i wonder if the cheezits would pick up any flavor as well ...
ill be tring it when i can, just seeing if anyone else has been there yet ?

ONly one way to find out

Chex mix is good stuff smoked. Made a big batch a couple of years ago for a holiday gathering, disappeared quickly. Now it's a requirement, lol.

Now I have never thought about smoking chex mix but thanks for shoving it into my brain now.

Wow, I never thought about that, but I'm going to have to try now. I love homemade chex mix. In the oven I usually only cook it at about 250*, so I guess just follow the same directions for smoker?
