What a perfect summertime meal. Pulled pork, cool potato salad and some cold lemon pie to top it all off! Great job Jake! Doesn’t get much better than that.
Thanks bud and I agree was a perfect day for this meal. Should have made some homemade ice cream though

Awesome looking meal Jake, and mrs. Jake! Like many others have said you just can't beat potato salad in hot weather. Not sure but doubt those deviled eggs would have made it to mealtime at my house!

Thankfully today is only gonna be about 80...Saturday was brutal, heat index of 108.

Ryan
Thanks Ryan. Heat index is 104 right now.

Great looking meal! The pork looks really moist and tender, tater salad looks great too! I'm interested in the lemon icebox pie, any chance she'd share her recipe? Sounds just perfect with all this heat we've had.
Thanks bud. Here's the recipe. There are instructions for Graham cracker crust or you can buy premade

Jake, we're making this right now, all went well and it's in the freezer for the 4 hours. Question, after 4 hours, do we have to serve immediately? Can we put in the fridge for 3-4 more hours and then serve? I don't want the homemade whipped cream to liquify? Or should we leave in the freezer until ready to serve in 6-7 hours? Thanks we can't wait to dig in to this!

We left in freezer then set it out on counter for 30 minutes or so before we sliced it for dessert. Whip cream held up nice like that. Hope you like it

Awesome looking meal Jake!
If I ate like you do everyday I’d weigh 400 lbs.
But when I was young I could pack it in big time!
Nicely done as usual!
