Hi guys,im thinking about to Smoke water to use it on White dominican rise to give it a smoked flavour.
What do you think about it?
Any suggestion?

I"m not sure how it may turn out. Please report back :)

Smoked salt and spices are also used to help impart smoke to food :)

Before or after cooking? Raw rice is as dry as mars and smoke will not stick to it well at all. Cooked rice will more than likely get very mushy if you smoke it after it is cooked....

If your set-up for it you can cold smoke the rice like you would salt.

Don’t have any experience doing it but several members talk about smoking ice capturing the water and refreezing to have smoked ice in their adult beverages. I don’t know why it wouldn’t work how much flavor it would add don’t know. Please let us know how it works.

I like gmc's idea of cold smoking the rice.
I bet it would really pick up the smoke quickly.
Probably wouldn't need more than an hour or so in the smoke.
