Picked up a bag of these 100% white oak briquets today and I'm wondering if they're appropriate for a low and slow snake on a Weber kettle. After seeing their composition, I'm second guessing it. I didn't realize they were simply heavily compressed white oak shavings. In theory I think they might work out using the snake method, especially since I can control the heat with a Spider Venom ( which I wasn't planning to use). Any experience with this product? Thanks!
