I use 15mm collagen and sheep for sticks. Im pretty well versed on making things. Just not my way to soak natural casings in hot water.

U get natural casing and soak them in hot water. It comes out smooth and easy

The tube I used for the stuffer tube... It's thin wall... 1/2" = 12.7mm

Here I was setting around minding my own business checking out the forum when I came across your stuffer tube pics. I'm always whining about not having a long enough stuffer tube to fit the cases, saw your post and said why didn't I think of that. Now I have another project, all I need is another project. Did a quick Google search and found an old post of yours about using Pex pipe to make a tube.

The PEX doesn't work... the walls are too thick... The brass thin wall tubing works awesome...

This is similar to what we use. The only difference is the end of the tube is cut at a slant
