Firstly, apologies to the group if this question has already been asked / answered in another thread, I searched and found nothing...
I am looking for a source for some white greaseproof paper "bacon board" material to use for a backing when I package up / vacuum seal my sliced bacon. Something akin to the coated paperboard material used in commercial bacon packaging, but supplied in sheet / roll form that I can cut to size, appropriate to the size of my vacuum seal bags.
Any ideas as to sources for bacon board material?
Thx - SJ

I really don’t know where to get what you are looking for, but am curious as to why you aren’t happy with just the bags? We just arrange the bacon on a greased paper plate & just slide it off in the bag.

or you could cut thin cardboard and wrap it in wax paper, freezer paper.

I just did a quick search and came up with quite a few options . From the exact ones you see bacon packaged in to 4x8 sheets . Didn't see any rolls . I did find the waxed deli paper for my plastic baskets . 200 sheets for 12 bucks . Way cheaper than paper plates .
All kinds of cool stuff out there .

Thanks!
The vacuum seal bag is ok, I am just exploring some packaging ideas to add a bit more “flatness” to the package after sealing.

I found these trays a few years ago on Amazon. I just checked but they are out of stock.

Found "backer boards" on AliExpress...Backer Boards (looks like there are different sizes available).

I've ordered quite a few items from AE...takes a couple of weeks or so to arrive, but I haven't had any issues with them.

Here's the exact ones used for bacon . Custom printed with windows . I guess it just depends what you want to spend .
