My thoughts exactly! I also believe sponsors that are active and seen participating in the forum would get them more business.

Ryan
Todd Johnson A-Maze-N Products, Inventing the AMNPS and AMNTS (tray and tube pellet smoker generators.) He was very tuned in to members here with whether you need a tube or just the maze mostly based on your altitude of 3,000'+ for a tube. Vacuum sealers unlimited, Thermopro, Inkbird sponsors they all have lots of my money as well from offers here. I haven't had problems with warranties. I just upgrade but pay for testing so (which is just buying and using it) sponsors are great! It's all about the return on a sponsor's investment if they want to stay based on what they pay to be a sponsor.

This is a great idea to keep a list, and I'll work on that. Added it to my list. :emoji_white_check_mark:

FYI, I worked out a deal with LEM Grinders to give SMF members 20% off their products sitewide for 10 days, which starts on Friday. I'm planning to post about that tomorrow.

As far as I know, the only active sponsors we have right now are Thermoworks and Porter Road. There are quite a few affiliates, though, and I can list those as well. Camp Chef, Fireboard, and a few others.

I really love it when companies post value-added content in the forum, particularly helping with technical issues, questions.

I was wondering what happened with Todd and A-maze-n smokers. Is that a sponsorship SMF lost? Or he isn't actively selling anymore?

The last time this came up , someone linked a list .
I saw it as a " section " where it was posted , but maybe it was a list typed out by someone in the know . I've looked for it with no luck .

Abigail4476 Abigail4476 I'm pretty sure you are correct that we are down to Porter Road and Thermoworks. I believe the rest have dropped out. Todd sold out long ago and retired I do believe. Inkbird dropped out when the tariffs were announced. It would be nice to get some more active sponsors and I don't think I would include the affiliates they need to step up and become sponsors
